Joel left black desert for another venture. They won’t be doing Velia Inn at least for a while if ever again. They made it sound like it was over. The channel will still put out videos just not Velia Inn.

I'm curious, is it normal for people to live full time at Residence Inn? I stay at them frequently because I'm on the road so much, returning to the same ones with some regularity. I swear I see the same people staying at them even after a few weeks or even months apart.
I know they're extended stay hotels. But the older model ones especially - maybe 2-3 remodels removed from being current - seem to have full-time residents. I've noticed some decorated for holidays and in other ways.
Top Comment: Not unusual. I was an Marriott once and we got told we couldn’t wear sweats or work out clothes in the lounge. Kind of weird. Got to talk to an employee in the lounge. There was a gal who had been living on the concierge floor for over a year and she didn’t like people wearing work out clothes in lounge. Employee said she’d was on some sort of corporate account and she’d periodically bring in 30-40 people for meetings and hotel was making bank, so they kept her happy.
